We really like the look of the fedora, but we don't know how to pull it off. I know how to wear it to the beach, a 4th of July parade, and that's about it.
Here's where y'all help out. We need styling inspiration. If you could email me pictures of how/where you wear your fedora, Rebekah and I would greatly appreciate it. After I gather all the pictures, I'll post them because I'm positive there are others like myself out there. So, email me (email@example.com) your fedora outfit by next Wednesday, June 22nd. Oh, and don't feel limited to 1 picture.
Since I use self-timer, my poses aren't super creative because I have approximately 8 seconds to get in place. I'm home for a few weeks, and my little sister kindly and willingly volunteered to take my outfit shots. (She really did!) She loves this stuff...seriously.
I wore this outfit for a couple days. I'm loving that it's still cool enough to wear these jeans. Although, I know come July, they will probably be packed away until school starts. Too hot otherwise. I feel like my window of time to wear these is so limited. Do you have any spring/summer pieces like this?
tee: J.Crew outlet (May 2010)
jeans: GAP outlet (May 2010)--I searched high and low for white skinnies. Every store that had white skinnies, I went to. I tried on at least 15 pairs.
I took my nephews to swim lessons as my sister took her little girl to the doctor. Here's my poolside attire:
bathing suit underneath
tank: J.Crew outlet (May 2011)
skirt: Aeropostale (April 2006)
sandals: F21 (June 2010)
I bet a couple of you are thinking, "May 2011? I thought she joined the shopping ban." I did. I made an exception for beach items. I purchased 2 tanks ($6 each and the tanks will be used for the gym as well), 1 tee ($10), and 1 romper/coverup ($10). Those were my only purchases. $32 total. Not bad. How did y'all fare?
My roommates (Megan and Benita) and I went to the Outer Banks to meet up with several of my friends from when I lived in Washington, DC. We had such a great time! It was really nice because halfway through the week we ended up having the HUGE house to just the 3 of us. A much needed respite for all of us!
